Between work at the pet shop, the silence of Martin, his parrot, and a surprise visit, Éric has one appointment after another. But a revelation from his father changes everything.

When an old friend of his mother's resurfaces at the pet shop, Éric gets bogged down in a series of disappointing encounters and unrealistic proposals. Parenthood seems further away than ever.
